BOWLING GREEN, KY (August 23, 2010) - Gov. Steve Beshear today joined company and community officials in Bowling Green to announce the expansion of Magna Car Top Systems, a supplier of roof systems for the automotive industry . The company -- a division of Magna Steyr, which is an operating group of Magna International -- will invest more than $950,000 in new equipment, retooling and facility modifications, and create 30 new jobs as a result of the expansion. - Chamber Unveils Revised Website

The website is one of the Chamber’s strongest efforts in marketing South Central Kentucky to site selectors. - SCA to Expand in Bowling Green
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 11, 2010) – Gov. Steve Beshear today announced the expansion of SCA’s North American Personal Care operations in Bowling Green. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today at the Bowling Green plant among state, local and company officials to celebrate the expansion, which entails a $50 million investment and the creation of up to 65 new full-time positions over the coming years. SCA’s Bowling Green manufacturing operation currently employs 180 Kentuckians.
