Bowling Green, Ky. (May 31, 2018) – Outdoor kitchen manufacturer Crown Verity of Brantford, Ontario, Canada announced plans to locate their first U.S. manufacturing - Crown Verity USA, Inc. - facility in Warren County today. For nearly 30 years, Crown Verity has been a leader in residential and commercial kitchen and outdoor product manufacturing. This project will be a $3.6 million investment and will create 25 new jobs in South Central Kentucky.
The Verity history is extensive. Dating back to 1892, Verity has been a manufacturer of a variety of consumer and commercial goods - from farm implements, lighting fixtures and component parts for aircraft during World War II, to commercial restaurant appliances in the early 1950s. In 1991, Crown Verity founder Bill Verity identified a need for a superior commercial restaurant grill and a new company was born. Crown Verity continues to be a producer of state-of-the-art outdoor kitchens, grills and accessories.
"Crown Verity has developed a strong reputation across its customer base in North America, and we are proud to welcome them to the commonwealth," said Gov. Bevin. "A growing list of quality companies like Crown are choosing Kentucky for their US headquarters, capitalizing on our healthy business climate and distinct logistical advantages. We are grateful that Crown Verity USA has found a home in the commonwealth, and we wish the company much success in the years ahead."
"Our organization is very excited about our growth and the expansion into Warren County. From our first meeting with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, we felt welcome and saw the potential to grow our business and contribute to this wonderful community," said Crown Verity President Andy Incitti and CEO Bill Verity.
"This expansion allows Crown Verity to enhance our supply, service and partnerships throughout the United States. Bill and I look forward to breaking ground soon!" Incitti said.
Crown Verity's decision to establish their first United States location is driven by the need to better and more efficiently serve its North American customers. This multi-phase project in the Kentucky Transpark will initially include a 60,000 square-foot warehousing and distribution center and will grow to include a vertically integrated supply chain for Crown Verity's fabrication, assembly and packaging operations.
"Crown Verity has experienced tremendous market growth throughout North America and Bowling Green is a great location for their logistics needs," said Chamber President and CEO Ron Bunch. "We are pleased to welcome Crown Verity USA to South Central Kentucky and look forward to working with them in the future."
"Congratulations to Crown Verity USA on this project and we wish them all the best as they work to grow their presence in the United States. We are excited they chose to locate here and look forward to their future in our community," said Bowling Green Mayor Bruce Wilkerson.
"Crown Verity USA will be a great addition to the Kentucky Transpark and Warren County's community," said Warren County Judge-Executive Mike Buchanon. "We welcome them and congratulate them on their first United States location that will allow them to better serve their North American customers."
