Posted by: Emilee Buttrum, Economic Development Coordinator

The Supervisor Certificate Program is a competency-driven program designed to build general supervisory skills, as well as the basics of leadership. The program addresses the needs of employees in a variety of roles:

  • Supervisors
  • First-line and first-time managers
  • Non-management technical professionals in a team or project leadership role
  • Newly hired supervisors and managers
Over a period of nine months, cohorts meet once a month for a full-day of supervisor training including courses on basic business practices, time management, problem solving and customer service. The model outlines three key area where supervisors have the most influence within the workplace: improving others, improving processes and improving self. The corresponding courses are designed to the build the supervisor competencies in these areas in order to increase an organization's productivity, improve efficiency and enhance employee morale.
This course will be held at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, 710 College Street, Bowling Green, KY 42101. Contact Emilee Buttrum for additional information about the Training Consortium of South Central Kentucky, or click here.
