South Central Kentucky’s 10-county region is composed of the Bowling Green-Edmonson Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) that includes Allen, Butler, Edmonson, and Warren Counties, plus six adjacent counties (Barren, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, and Simpson)— totaling 299,945 people. The population is also growing at a rate that exceeds the national average!

A laborforce of 141,476 people lives in the 10-county region. Over 76% of the labor force is between the prime working of ages of 25-54 years old. South Central Kentucky also has a growing pipeline of future talent! Twenty-three percent of the population is under the age of 18.
