Fort Dearborn Company Announces Reinvestment in Bowling Green Facility

Fort Dearborn Company, leading supplier of high impact decorative labels announced an investment at their Bowling Green facility that will create new jobs.  The expansion will encompass a new Mark Andy Performance Series P5 press that will significantly increase the capabilities, efficiencies, and capacity to support their press sensitive label growth. 

The company supplies decorative labels for national and private brand consumer product goods companies.  The company produces pressure sensitive and roll-fed labels in the Bowling Green facility.  The company also offers value added services such as technical support and label management programs.

According to Chamber CEO Ron Bunch, “We are delighted to see that Fort Dearborn is reinvesting here in their South Central Kentucky location and we look forward to working with them in the future”.

Fort Dearborn Company, has maintained its label division in Bowling Green’s South Central Kentucky Industrial Park since 1993.  In addition to the Bowling Green location, the Illinois headquartered company also has 13 other locations across the United States and Canada.

According to Warren County Judge Executive Mike Buchanon, “I am pleased to congratulate Fort Dearborn on this recent expansion, and I thank them for their continued commitment to South Central Kentucky I look forward to working with them as they continue to grow”.

This is the twentieth economic development announcement in 2015 for the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce for a total capital investment of $894,777,235 and 968 jobs.  2015 has been an exciting year for economic development in South Central Kentucky.  In just this year alone, we have earned 94% of the expansion investment it has taken us over a decade to earn. Similarly, we currently have two of the top five investment projects in the state and for the 3rd consecutive year, we have the top investment in the state by a manufacturer.
