Bowling Green, KY., July 28, 2022 – O-I Glass, one of the world’s leading glass bottle manufacturers, along with Governor Andy Beshear, announced today its $240M investment to build a new manufacturing facility in the Kentucky Transpark in Bowling Green, Kentucky creating 140 new jobs for the region. The first phase of the new facility will be over 160,000 SF with more expansions to follow.

Year to date, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has closed four economic development projects in South Central Kentucky, totaling $2.25B in capital investment and creating 2,200 new jobs in the region.
