Tahir and Amira take great pride in being part of the Bowling Green community and are amazed by the continued growth and development happening here. May Coffee Hour Speaker - Judge/Executive Doug Gorman
Doug Gorman was elected Judge/Executive in November 2022 and began serving the citizens of Warren County on January 2, 2023. Previously, he was First District Magistrate from 2015-2022.
Gorman owned and managed Booth Fire & Safety in Bowling Green from 1995–2020 until the sale of the business. He was awarded the Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year in 2000.
He has been very involved in economic development efforts over the past two decades. He was a board member of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce for 10 years and was Chairman of that board in 2008. Additionally, he served on the BG Area Economic Development Authority board.
In 2009 he was appointed by Warren County to be Chairman on the inaugural Warren County Downtown Economic Development Authority (TIF) board. Since that time, he has been involved with over $375M in capital investment in the downtown TIF district.
