The Leadership Bowling Green Class of 2024 celebrated their graduation on Thursday, May 16, marking the culmination of an enriching journey in community leadership and development. Highlighting the event, classmate Cory Gearlds of RENEW by Optimum Rejuvenation was honored with the prestigious 2024 Bart Hagerman Award. This accolade, named after the founder of Leadership Bowling Green in 1985, recognizes exceptional dedication and contribution to the program.
Under the expert guidance of Chair Jessica Carver and Co-Chair Justin Gearlds, the class navigated two retreats and seven intensive program days. Their collective efforts are reflected in their proud claim as the 'Best Class,' evidenced by their completion of seven community service projects and a remarkable 389 volunteer hours.
“I am so grateful to have been a part of such an amazing class filled with so many wonderful classmates who are truly the current and emerging leaders of our community,” expressed Amanda Lich of AT&T Kentucky.
