On August 21, 2024, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Welcome Back WKU event, welcoming students back for the new school year. The event was designed to help students connect with local businesses, explore opportunities in Bowling Green, and build strong relationships within the community.

This year’s event drew over 60 vendors who offered a variety of products, services, and resources to help students get acclimated to life both on campus and in Bowling Green. From local restaurants, nonprofits, to healthcare, the businesses created a fun and interactive environment, ensuring that students had the opportunity to engage with the community in a meaningful way.

Students were treated to free giveaways, food, and activities while learning more about what Bowling Green has to offer outside of the classroom and off “The Hill.”

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the growth of WKU and the local community through events like this. We look forward to continuing this tradition next year and to helping WKU students feel right at home in Bowling Green!
