AT&T employees live and work in communities across the Commonwealth. In fact, more than 1,300 AT&T employees call Kentucky home. Every day, we work to keep our neighbors – and the Kentucky communities we call home – connected.
In the last five years, AT&T invested nearly $1.2 billion in Kentucky – including nearly $50 million in the Bowling Green area – expanding and enhancing our best-in-class wireless service, and expanding availability of AT&T Fiber, which is now available to more than 440,000 customer locations in more than 110 communities across Kentucky.
In addition, we are investing in public safety through FirstNet, Built with AT&T. We have deployed Band14 on more than 1,000 cell sites across Kentucky to provide public safety with truly dedicated coverage and capacity when they need it; and as a result of our commitment to public safety, agencies and first responders across hundreds of communities in the Commonwealth are subscribed to FirstNet.
AT&T’s Kentucky employees are passionate about our work, and we are proud to call Kentucky home.
