April 4, 2026 | Bowling Green, KY - On April 4, the SCK LAUNCH Student Ambassadors ended their year of leadership training—provided by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce—with a powerful day of community service.  Representing BGHS, GHS, SWHS, WCHS, and WEHS, these future leaders stepped into action to give back to an organization that supports our region every day. Energy, teamwork, and a spirit of service were on full display as the student ambassadors spent the day volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club. From setting up gaming systems and an arcade space to preparing snacks and organizing program materials, students jumped right in to make a difference. They also refreshed supply areas and built an obstacle course and gym activities—creating fun, engaging spaces for youth to learn and play. Following that, students participated in a leadership training session with Gary McGuey, where they explored teamwork, personal growth, and what it means to lead with purpose. It was a day of hands-on impact and meaningful growth—showing how service and leadership go hand in hand.
