The Leadership Bowling Green Class of 2027 wasted no time getting to know one another — and getting a little outside their comfort zones.
The class kicked off the year with a two-day retreat at Camp Loucon designed to build trust, strengthen relationships and set the tone for the Leadership Bowling Green experience. Through team-building challenges, group activities and the high and low elements courses, class members were encouraged to lean on one another, try something new and discover what they can accomplish as a team.
But the retreat was about more than completing challenges. It was about building the relationships that will carry this class through the year. Class members learned more about one another, explored their individual strengths and began connecting the lessons from the retreat to their professional and personal lives.
The experience was the perfect introduction to the year ahead — one centered around exploring the community, connecting with others and inspiring one another to be champions for Bowling Green.
With a strong foundation of trust, teamwork and plenty of new memories already in place, the Class of 2027 is off to a great start!
