BOWLING GREEN, KY., March 26, 2026 – The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce today announced a planned expansion by Stupp Bridge, a leading bridge fabrication and steel structure manufacturer, that will create 15 new full-time jobs through a $2.7 million capital investment in Warren County.

The project will support vertical integration of an adjacent supply chain to Stupp Bridge, enabling the company to diversify its product base, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen its long-term presence in South Central Kentucky. By bringing additional processes and capabilities in-house and closer to its Bowling Green operations, Stupp Bridge will be better positioned to serve infrastructure, transportation, and industrial customers across the region and beyond.

“Stupp Bridge has been committed to quality, safety, and partnership throughout our history, and this expansion is the next step in that commitment,” said Derek Clemons, President, Stupp Bridge. “By integrating additional supply chain functions adjacent to our existing operations, we can better control quality, timelines, and costs, while expanding the range of products and services we offer. Bowling Green and Warren County have been outstanding partners, and we’re excited to grow our footprint, our team, and our future right here in this community.”

“Today’s announcement from Stupp Bridge underscores the strength of Warren County’s advanced manufacturing sector and the importance of long-term partners who continue to reinvest here,” said Warren County Judge Executive Doug Gorman. “This expansion not only adds new jobs, but it also deepens the local supply chain and reinforces our position as a premier destination for world-class manufacturers. We’re proud that Stupp Bridge continues to choose Warren County for its growth.”

The project further solidifies Stupp Bridge’s role as a key employer and industrial partner in the community, leveraging Bowling Green’s strategic access to major transportation corridors and its reputation as a top-tier manufacturing hub.

Bowling Green Mayor Todd Alcott said the project reflects the city’s mission to be Community Led, Service Driven, and Powered by Growth, while supporting sustainable economic development and quality jobs. “Stupp Bridge’s decision to expand in Bowling Green shows the confidence employers have in our workforce, infrastructure, and business climate,” Mayor Alcott said. “This project is Community Led, rooted in local talent; Service Driven, supporting businesses and families; and Powered by Growth, positioning our city for long-term prosperity. These new jobs and this investment are wins for our families, our tax base, and the future of Bowling Green.”

The investment will support facility upgrades, new equipment, and process enhancements that allow Stupp Bridge to broaden its capabilities and respond more flexibly to evolving market demands.

“This expansion is a powerful example of smart, strategic growth,” said Meredith Wilson, Interim President and CEO of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. “By vertically integrating an adjacent supply chain, Stupp Bridge is enhancing its competitiveness while anchoring more value-added activity right here in South Central Kentucky. We are grateful for their continued commitment to Warren County and proud to support a project that brings new jobs, new investment, and greater resilience to our regional economy.”
